AWR Pays Tribute to Edwin Charles

The former director of the Adventist Media Center in India, Pastor Edwin Charles, passed away on September 28, 2011, after a lifetime of service in the Adventist Church. We mourn Pastor Charles’ loss, and wish to pay tribute to his dedicated work for AWR.   Read More 

Wolof Broadcasts Begin in Africa

AWR has started broadcasts in the Wolof language to listeners in Western Africa. The half-hour programs can be heard daily on shortwave radio in countries such as Senegal, Gambia, Mali, and Mauritania, as well as online through awr.org, iTunes, and other podcatchers. These programs are the first to be produced in the AWR studio in Dakar, Senegal, which was rebuilt in 2010.   Read More

New Middle East Studio: Sharing the Good News of Freedom

This July, Adventist World Radio will begin broadcasting new shortwave programs in Arabic for four hours daily – morning and evening – to listeners countries such as Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.   Read More
